This Wednesday, January 11, the Ovalies UniLaSalle unveiled the associations that will be supported during this new edition, on May 5 and 6, 2023 at the Marcel Communeau stadium in Beauvais.
The Ovalies UniLaSalle is above all a solidarity project, which promotes mutual aid and generosity through the support given to the most disadvantaged. As every year, the funds raised during the event will be donated to charities. In 25 years, €520,000 have already been donated to the organizations supported. This year, the “CAP SAAA (Sport, Art, Adventure, Friendship)”, “Oscar’s Angels”, and “MANAO” associations will be supported by the Ovalies UniLaSalle and will receive the profits collected during the event.
The Ovalies wish this year to highlight disabled sport, access to sport for all, by supporting “CAP SAAA”, an association for education through sport, carrying out prevention and awareness actions on disability, living together, and the fight against all forms of discrimination.
“Oscar’s Angels”, already supported by the association in 2020, is sponsored by Thierry Dusautoir, current sponsor of the 28th edition of the Ovalies UniLaSalle. It is an organization represented by hospital volunteers and which provides emotional and financial support to families of hospitalized children and adolescents with brain or spinal tumors, serious neurological pathologies or who are in palliative care. Finally, “MANAO” is an association that helps the inhabitants of disadvantaged villages in Madagascar, by providing them with social, health, educational and economic assistance. Access to schooling, supply of food and hygiene products, hospitalization costs covered, medical care… Through multiple aids, “MANAO” provides support to populations in precarious situations. The entire Ovalies UniLaSalle team is proud to be able to help these associations during this 28th edition, support their causes and defend their values through sport, friendship and generosity. We thank them for their trust, hoping to be able to provide them with all the help they need and convey their messages through our event.
