Throughout the month of May, Isagri, La Région Hauts de France, BetaSeed, Lenormant and the Ovalies UniLaSalle unite and launch a solidarity action. The objective is to create gift baskets for mask-making centers for the inhabitants of Hauts de France. These baskets help farmers in the region who are having difficulty selling their products and to thank the association of seamstresses of the Souffle du Nord.

Twice a week, members of the Ovalies UnilaSalle organizing team take part in the distribution. This student commitment is very important to us and allows us to contribute, at our level, to collective solidarity movements. In all, nearly 500 gift baskets will be distributed this month.

1 gesture of solidarity = 2 positive impacts: are you helping us?

This solidarity action has a double effect:

1- SUPPORT by buying products from farmers in difficulty following the closure of restaurants, canteens…

2- THANK the volunteers who, each day, make masks for free to protect us against the spread of COVID19. Thank them by offering them baskets filled with from the local products of the farmers.

This solidarity action is important to us ❤️ but unfortunately we will not be able to continue it without additional financial assistance…😥

That’s why we decided to launch a kitty in the hope of being able to make and offer additional gift baskets.
