This Thursday, December 12, the 26th Ovalies UniLaSalle unveiled their sponsor for this new edition which will take place on May 8 & 9, 2020.

Like every year, for 25 years now, the Ovalies association, a rugby tournament organized by engineering students of Unilasalle, is sponsored by a prominent figure in the world of rugby French. Several big names have had the opportunity to join this event, like Vincent CLERC, Jessy TREMOULIERE, Imanol HARINORDOQUY alongside Michaël JEREMIASZ or Sébastien CHABAL.

This year, the Ovalies are accompanied by a champion with multiple victories in club and in the French team: Thierry DUSAUTOIR.

With 80 selections, including 56 as captain of the Blues, the “Dark Destroyer” was voted the best player in the world in 2011 by the National Rugby League. Internationally, he won the 6 Nations tournament with France in 2010 and vice-world champion in 2011. The familiar third row of the Toulouse workforce won 5 titles of champion of France and the European Cup in 2010.

In 2017, Thierry Dusautoir decided to end his professional career and said, “Today I would like to say thank you to rugby, to all the emotions it gave me. »
